We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. The Payroll Manager Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for payroll preparation/processing, payroll tax reporting, year-end tax preparation/reporting and payroll system maintenance.
- Manages all operations for the department in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Reviews and balances payroll registers, tax liabilities and incoming work daily.
- Maintains daily labor report controls and monitors the report for accuracy.
- Balances quarter-end payroll and year-end processing, including but not limited to year-end payroll tax returns, W2s and year end audits, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.
- Manages team and organizes department functions in accordance with company guidelines.
- Delegates tasks and department assignments/projects and evaluates the timeline to complete assignments, while maintaining operational duties.
- Responds to Team Member inquiries and concerns relative to payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three years payroll experience.
- Experience utilizing UKG a plus.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
