Dayton region.
Position Overview
Soleil Movement Studio is seeking an organized, outgoing, and creative Event & Community
Partnerships Intern to help bring our events and collaborations to life. This internship is
ideal for students pursuing degrees in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations,
Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related fields. The intern will work directly with
the studio owner to coordinate both in-studio and off-site events, develop community
partnerships, secure sponsorships, and build relationships with local businesses,
influencers, and organizations. This position offers hands-on experience in event planning,
partnership development, community outreach, and brand marketing with the opportunity
to grow into a long-term position as Soleil continues to expand.
Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
Assist with planning and executing in-studio workshops, wellness events, pop-ups, and
community classes.
Support off-site events, festivals, corporate wellness experiences, and community
partnerships.
Help coordinate event timelines, logistics, vendors, and volunteers.
Assist with event setup, breakdown, and guest experience.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
Research and connect with local businesses for collaborative events.
Build relationships with community organizations and nonprofits.
Identify new partnership opportunities that align with Soleil's mission.
Maintain partner communication before and after events.
Brand Sponsorships
Research potential local and national brand sponsors.
Draft outreach emails and sponsorship proposals.
Coordinate sponsorship deliverables and event activations.
Track sponsorship opportunities and outreach.
Influencer & Community Relations
Research local content creators, wellness influencers, and community leaders.
Coordinate influencer invitations for studio events and experiences.
Assist with ambassador and creator relationship management.
Help create memorable experiences for invited guests and partners.
Marketing Support
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events.
Assist with registration and attendee communication.
Brainstorm creative event concepts.
Collect photos, testimonials, and event feedback.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college or university.
Eligible to receive internship credit.
Passionate about community building, wellness, marketing, or event planning.
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Comfortable networking and building professional relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in event planning or hospitality.
Marketing or public relations coursework.
Canva or graphic design experience.
Social media knowledge.
Interest in health, wellness, Pilates, or fitness.
