Compensation: $95,000–$105,000 DOE

A global technology organization with U.S. and international operations serving advanced technology markets.
Responsible for general ledger accuracy, month-end close, multi-entity accounting, expense processing, cost-plus accounting, and international branch support. Japanese and English communication is required to support coordination with global operations.

Perform journal entries, bank reconciliations, and GL maintenance under US GAAP.

Manage AP/AR transactions and employee expense reports.

Reconcile sales, VAT, use, and income tax-related accounts.

Maintain inventory reconciliations and fixed asset records.

Support month/quarter-end close, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Support SOX controls and external audits.

Manage cost-plus accounting, overhead allocations, transfer pricing, and intercompany billings.

Support overseas branches, currency translations, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.
Required:

Japanese and English bilingual ability.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2–3 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.

Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.

Accounting/ERP system experience.
Preferred:

QuickBooks experience.

Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct experience.

Manufacturing, technology hardware, or semiconductor industry exposure.

Occasional domestic/international travel and weekend work may be required.
