About the Role
A rapidly growing home improvement company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and support installation teams across a fast-paced, multi-market organization.
This position will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, staging, and distribution of products and materials used for residential installation projects. The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, managing daily installation load-outs, maintaining an organized and safe facility, and ensuring installation teams have the materials they need to successfully complete projects.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, construction, remodeling, or a related industry.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound deliveries, material storage, inventory, outbound deliveries, and daily installation load-outs.
- Oversee the daily installation load-out process, ensuring required materials and paperwork are properly staged and ready for installation teams.
- Assist installation teams with loading materials and supplies into company vehicles as needed.
- Partner with installation, customer experience, procurement, and other departments to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
- Maintain, track, and report inventory levels for materials, products, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and discrepancies are identified and addressed.
- Oversee warehouse layout and organization to maximize efficient storage, staging, and retrieval of materials.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for warehouse equipment and systems to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local workplace and safety requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations experience required.
- Previous experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, plumbing, or home improvement is strongly preferred.
- Warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment.
- Strong inventory management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including regularly lifting and moving materials weighing 50–75+ pounds.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
