Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Server to join our team at a premier Naples resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, along with taking orders for both food & beverage. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on guest services, and the ability to manage events and activities around the pool area including food & beverages. Must be able to multi-task, handle extreme volume, and variable outside temps including sun and heat.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and adherence to facility rules.
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting patrons, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Take orders, deliver food, and assist guests in all poolside needs
- Perform cash handling duties for any poolside food & drink orders
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including chairs, tables, and surrounding spaces.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Engage with children and families to promote a fun and safe environment.
- Toast experience is preferred
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with guests and lead activities.
- Experience in events management is a plus for organizing poolside events.
- Certification as a lifeguard is highly desirable for ensuring safety at the pool.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes is beneficial for managing transactions at the poolside concessions.
- A background in food service can be advantageous when assisting with refreshments or snacks.
- Experience working with children is preferred to enhance family-friendly interactions at the pool.
- A passion for theater or performance can contribute positively to creating engaging experiences for guests.
