Psychological Perspectives LLC is a busy and growing private practice in the Pleasant Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA. We provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment and testing services, as well as therapy, serving children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral health needs.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Scheduler to join our team for 15 hours per week. This position requires on-site availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during daytime hours. We are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works for both you and the practice. Experience with scheduling and insurance verification is preferred. Must be comfortable answering the phone and scheudling for multiple providers. Please note: this is an on-site position, not remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comfortably answer phones and return voicemails promptly
- Respond to online inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Schedule appointments for all clinicians in the office
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Collect patient financial responsibility at the time of service
- Create and maintain client charts in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Check in clients and ensure smooth flow of appointments
- Assist with general office duties such as copying, faxing, organizing files, and other tasks as requested
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
- Follow HIPAA policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and coordinating schedules
- Reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Punctual and conscientious, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and incorporate feedback as needed
