Job Title: Industrial Technician
Location: Ansonia, CT
Type: Direct Hire First Shift 6:45 AM-3:15 PM onsite
Salary: up to $35.00/hr. DOE Plus Excellent Benefits Package
Must be available to work occasionally on Saturdays if manufacturing production is down
Position Summary
The Industrial Technician is responsible for performing repair work on facility equipment and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and electronic systems on industrial machines.

Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance procedures and policies.

Conduct inspections of equipment, including after-hours emergency repairs when necessary.

Submit requisitions for maintenance materials and contracted services.

Support facility operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Knowledge of production and inspection procedures and equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and facility maintenance.

Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
Education
-
Technical High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum of 5 years of machine maintenance experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

Experience working with injection molding equipment is a plus
-
Knowledge of building codes and OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications

ISO 9001 and FDA cGMP knowledge preferred.
