Can you roll a pie crust? We are looking for a baker for 8-10 hours on Fridays and 4-6 hours on Wednesday afternoons. Baking experience is important, although commercial baking experience is not required. The Friday schedule is typically scones, muffins, and pies. Wednesdays could include cookies, cakes, granola, bars, or sweet breads. Baking before holidays could require extra hours.
Requirements:
Dependability and consistency in work ethic
Ability to read and follow written directions and recipes
Able to stand for hours on concrete floor
Able to lift 25 pounds
Comfortable with the use and operation of kitchen equipment
Ability to take a food handler's class and pass the test
Positive working attitude, demonstrating respect for employer and other employees
Duties:
Produce quality baked goods from scratch, by following exact recipes, in a consistent and timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
