Construction Laborer
Heritage Builders is a well respected residential general contractor based in Manhattan, Kansas. We are currently seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to assist our lead carpenters in their daily work on high quality residential projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands on experience in residential construction and grow within the trade.
What You Will Do
As a Construction Laborer, you will support the carpentry team by helping keep projects running smoothly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting lead carpenters with daily tasks and job site needs
- Preparing job sites, materials, and tools
- Light framing and general construction support
- Carrying, loading, and unloading materials
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe and organized job site
- Assisting with trim, cabinetry, and finish work as needed
- Following foreman instructions and project plans
What We Are Looking For
- A dependable, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction from lead carpenters
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is helpful but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to follow directions and accept constructive feedback
