Job Description
Part-Time Tutor and Team Member
Who we are looking for:
We are looking to expand our team of highly qualified tutors. If you are a results oriented tutor with a track record of improving students grades, increasing student happiness, and punctual performance, please apply!
General Accountabilities:
- Provides private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance, occupational skills, or prepare for academic or occupational tests.
- Teaches students study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Assesses students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.
- Identifies, develops, or implements intervention strategies, tutoring plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Maintains records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
- Prepares lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students' needs and goals.
- Develops teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.
- Collaborates with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, or counselors to determine students needs, develop tutoring plans, and assess students progress.
- Communicates progress to students, parents or teachers in written progress reports.
- Works 5-20 hours per week depending on situation :)
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Must demonstrate proficiency in subjects taught. This may include a verbal or written examination in the subject.
- Must pass comprehensive background check
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
