Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake interviews and health history reviews, to identify underlying causes of health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating nutrition guidance, lifestyle modifications, and integrative therapies such as Reiki services.
- Utilize medical software and telehealth platforms to document patient interactions, track progress, and coordinate care effectively.
- Provide expert breastfeeding support, postpartum care, and guidance on labor & delivery recovery to new mothers and families.
- Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and the benefits of holistic practices to empower informed health decisions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care and facilitate referrals when necessary.
- Maintain clear client communication through compassionate counseling and ongoing support to foster trust and adherence.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in functional or integrative medicine with a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency with medical software systems and telehealth platforms for scheduling, documentation, and virtual consultations.
- Knowledge of patient care practices including intake procedures, patient assessment techniques, postpartum support, and working with families.
- Familiarity with nutrition principles, breastfeeding support strategies, labor & delivery recovery protocols, and postpartum care essentials.
- Ability to provide Reiki services or other holistic therapies as part of an integrated treatment approach.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments while maintaining detailed records of patient progress.
