Bliss Birth is offering an extraordinary opportunity to work with low-risk moms and practise the holistic, evidence-based midwifery that inspired you to become a midwife. As a self-pay practice — built on our outstanding reputation — you can match or exceed a hospital salary on just 3–5 births a month. Our compensation model works best for midwives who don't need employer health insurance or a 401(k).
The Bliss Birth team is a curated group of professionals dedicated to making birth center birth safe and empowering. Our team includes two CNMs, OB-GYN, MFM, Pediatrician, ND, RNs, and Barbara Harper (Water Birth International). You will be joining a team that is genuinely a community. No hierarchy — everyone pitches in on everything. We have a beautiful facility with Active Birth Pools (120 gallon birth tubs with LED lighting).
Bliss Birth opened its doors in 2020 to honor, support, and educate women in their natural childbirth journey. We are the only birth center in the area that has established close collaboration with OB/GYNs and has an MFM on call for us 24/7. Barbara Harper and her team teaches childbirth education classes to all our moms and dads. We have only 5-star google reviews and you can find pictures celebrating our mothers and families on Instagram.
In 2023 we opened Bliss Fertility Center to help couples conceive naturally – identifying and resolving the underlying causes of infertility.

Requirements:
We require at least 2 years of midwifery experience either in-hospital or out-of-hospital
We require at least 20 home or birth center births as the primary midwife.
We require a coverletter explaining why you are interested in the position.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
