Responsibilities

- Assist with cooking and food assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support meal preparation for catering events or large-scale service as needed
- Ensure all food items are prepared efficiently to meet service timelines
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen settings within the food industry is preferred
