Westwave AV is a profitable, growing event production company serving corporate events, conferences, and live shows across the SF Bay Area. Our work wins repeat clients — now we need someone to open new doors.
The role: You'll build and own relationships with event planners, venues, DMCs, and corporate event teams across the Bay Area. This is relationship-driven BD with a long game, not a dialing-for-dollars boiler room. You'll have full support from our production team, real case studies to sell with, and a delivery operation that makes you look good after the contract is signed.
You're probably a fit if you:
- Already know people in the Bay Area events world — you've worked in AV/event production sales, venue sales, event planning, or hospitality
- Are energized by building long-term relationships (6-12 month cycles don't scare you)
- Can walk a planner through a site visit and speak credibly about production
- Are self-directed — no office, no micromanagement, you run your own calendar
Comp: $75-90K base (DOE) + uncapped commission on booked business. Realistic year-one OTE $110-140K; no ceiling after that.
Logistics: Work from anywhere, but you must be based in the SF Bay Area — this role happens at venues, client meetings, and industry events. Company CRM discipline is non-negotiable: every contact and touchpoint lives in our system.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
