Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including machinery , and other machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, motors, electrical systems etc
- Read schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs with precision, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
- Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts to upgrade or construct new facilities or equipment setups.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with hands-on repair of mechanical issues or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience with equipment repair in construction or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and safely.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and teamwork.
