Responsibilities
- Support senior mechanics in performing routine vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Assist with the removal, installation, and repair of vehicle components using hand tools and power tools
- Help with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools and parts to ensure efficient workflow
- Lift heavy vehicle parts and equipment safely to facilitate repairs and restorations
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities to maintain a secure work environment
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills in auto restoration and repair
- Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods during daily tasks
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Great driving record
