Job/Candidate Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accounting professional to join our manufacturing company team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead manufacturing financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic growth initiatives within a vibrant and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise, especially in manufacturing settings, along with a passion for continuous improvement.
Duties
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements and analysis of financial data
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analyses to maintain precise financial records
- Ensure regulatory compliance accounting and other applicable standards
- Lead timely month-end and year-end closing activities with meticulous attention to detail
- Support CPA for tax related issues, timely and accurate filings
- Support internal controls development and monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management nd financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making
- Knowledge of cost accounting for products, materials, labor costing to assist management in efficiency and product pricing
- Daily accounting duties, invoicing and accounts payable(manageable low numbers weekly)
- Assist in inventory/valuation and WIP inventory tracking in ERP
- Manage/Assist production in consumption of materials in ERP per work and manufacturing orders
- Assist in Odoo ERP rollout to manufacturing floor and work stations
Experience
- Extensive experience in accounting within manufacturing or industrial environments, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial software applications such as excel, MRP, ERP systems, DCC is using Odoo ERP so experience in that is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting areas including GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and double-entry bookkeeping
- Knowledge of public accounting practices and experience with auditing processes preferred
- Strong skills in Excel data analysis, reports and dashboards for financial and management reporting
- Minimum Bachelors degree in accounting/finance and 5 year equivalent experience.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
