Case Manager (Patient Support Services) – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Company Overview:
A leading specialty pharmacy partner is seeking an experienced and compassionate Case Manager to join their Patient Support Services team. This position focuses on guiding patients through the reimbursement and access process for specialty medications, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Schedule:
- Shift: 8:000 AM – 8:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday (8) hour shift schedule.
- Some flexibility may be required during program launch or high-volume periods.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and payers to support therapy access and reimbursement coordination.
- Conduct benefits investigations, verify insurance coverage, and assist with prior authorization and appeal submissions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in internal case management systems and ensure all updates meet compliance standards.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered communication while troubleshooting access barriers.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support onboarding, adherence follow-up, and patient retention efforts.
- Ensure all activities align with HIPAA, program, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent healthcare experience accepted.
- 1–2+ years of experience in case management, reimbursement support, patient access programs, or specialty pharmacy.
- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical benefit structures, prior authorization, and payer processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment using CRM or case management software.
