Position Overview
We are seeking experienced EMTs and Paramedics to join our team on a PRN/part-time basis. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic event environments and are committed to delivering high-quality care.
Schedule
- Evening and weekend availability required
- No overnight shifts (most shifts end by 11:30 PM or earlier)
- Occasional weekday daytime shifts available (schedule varies)
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide high-quality & compassionate patient care at event sites
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine medical needs and prioritize care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in emergency situations, utilizing triage skills as necessary
- Accurately complete patient care reports
- Maintain medical equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols and clinical operating guidelines
- Deliver patient-centered, compassionate treatment while representing S.W.E.A.T. professionally
Qualifications (Required)
- Current Texas EMT or Paramedic certification
- Proficient in all skills at certification level
- Prior 911 experience outside of clinical hours for schooling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and customer service
- Ability to pass employment & criminal background check
- Willingness to undergo skill proficiency test and random drug screenings
- Clean driving record
