The Town of Dennis Fire Department is recruiting professional candidates for the full-time positions of Firefighter/EMT. Applicants must have certification to practice in the State of Massachusetts, certification and preferred Massachusetts State Firefighter Academy 1 & 2 trained.
Applicants must meet the basic qualifications for the position of Firefighter/EMT as determined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These basic qualifications include:
- Be at least 19 years of age at the time of application
- Possess a valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license at the time of application
- Possess a High School Diploma or have a G.E.D. Certificate at time of application Emergency Medical Technician in Massachusetts at time of application
- Must be free of felony convictions
- Must be able to pass the Massachusetts Department of Human Resources Firefighter Fitness Medical Examination and Physical Ability Test
