Machine Operator CNC Fabrication

We are looking to fill Morning Full-time Machine Operator positions in our Fabrication Department.
Work 35 hours and get paid for 40!
Pay for Shift Machine Operator - CNC is $20.00/hr
Morning shift hours: 5am-12pm
Responsibilities include:
1. DETERMINES SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS
by
studying blueprints, specifications, product reports, and route codes.
2. PREPARES MACHINE FOR PRODUCTION
by
positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
3. GATHERS PARTS
by
pulling and verifying materials listed on product report.
4. FABRICATES PARTS
by
positioning or aligning part against stops and guides or with die; operating equipment.
5. REGULATES MACHINES
by
setting and adjusting controls.
6. MAINTAINS SPECIFICATIONS
by
observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls.
7. ENSURES OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT
by
working with the Maintenance Department on a comprehensive maintenance program.
8. STORES COMPLETED FABRICATED PART
by
placing items in an appropriate warehouse location.
9. MAINTAINS SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
10. MAINTAINS FABRICATION DEPARTMENT APPEARANCE
by
transporting materials to disposal area; recycling materials.
11. CONSERVES RESOURCES
by
using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
12. CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT
by
accomplishing related results as needed.
13. MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD
by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
14. PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED.
Qualified applicants will have:
- Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent training.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Must have knowledge of safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. on average during a normal
- working day.
- Must have experience working with CNC Machinery.
- Must be able to operate computers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
Working Conditions:
- Production area with exposure to noise and heat.
- Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
- Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
- Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
- Carrying, pushing, or pulling parts to area.
- Lifting and bending frequently.
