Position: Long-Term Substitute – High School PE/Health Teacher
HCSS is seeking a Long-Term Substitute PE/Health Teacher to join our High School team for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with high school students and wants to be part of a supportive and welcoming school community. The long-term substitute will provide Physical Education and Health instruction, follow the established curriculum and classroom expectations, and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Teach scheduled Physical Education and Health classes.
- Follow established curriculum, lesson plans, and school expectations.
- Encourage student participation, teamwork, healthy habits, and active lifestyles.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
- Support students with different abilities and needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and student support staff as needed.
- Communicate with students and families when appropriate.
