As a Professional Body Piercer at Body Jewel North Olmsted, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality piercings and exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing consistent, precise piercings in a timely manner.
- Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Managing priorities and adapting to changing situations with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace that meets all safety and hygiene standards/laws.
- Know about the different materials used for piercing and acceptable materials for a healed piercing (including size, length and placement).
- Provide exceptional customer service and effectively handle any issues in a professional manner.
- Know and understand all health code laws, and ensure they are followed by staff.
- Ensure that piercing quality, aseptic technique, and sterilization techniques are adhered to.
- Must stay up to date with certifications.
- Makes sure all equipment is maintained according to the manufactures recommendations.
- Maintain piercing supplies and checklist.
- Regularly check all working areas of piercers and sales associates, including storage areas, equipment, Bio room and bathroom for cleanliness
- Ensure all necessary reports and forms are completed daily
- Monitor stock levels, stock quality, and organization
- Cash handling and how to prepare a deposit
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

At least 1 year of professional body piercing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Versatility and flexibility to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Acute attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
