Soft Goods Detroit is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our production team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in keeping our manufacturing process moving from A to Z, contributing to the quality and efficiency of the shop.
Responsibilities may include:
- Folding, bagging, and barcoding garments.
- Boxing and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
- Cleaning and resetting workstations to maintain an organized and safe workspace.
- Plotting, rolling, and cutting fabric to keep production moving.
- Lifting and moving heavy items, including 30+ la boxes, fabric rolls, and pallets.
- Assisting our Sewists with various tasks.
- Multi-tasking in our high paced shop.
Requirements:
- Keen eye for detail and organizational skills to keep things running smoothly.
- Comfortable working with numbers and measurements for accurate cutting, rolling, and inventory management.
- Self-motivated and efficient worker who can function both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items regularly.
- Adaptability to handle shifting priorities and production needs.
