We are seeking skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technicians with experience in the Industrial, Marine, Heavy Commercial industries. In this role, your duties would include HVAC/R service troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, replacement, installation, piping, wiring, and startups of all various types and sizes of HVAC/R equipment including chillers as well as custom designed and built/ modified equipment at our Beaumont facility in many unique locations locally, nationally, and worldwide.
Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of complex equipment, improve energy efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems including chillers, custom & standard refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and all types of mechanical equipment in marine, industrial, and commercial settings
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
- Install new HVAC/R equipment following industry standards and safety protocols
- Utilize industry tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical repairs when necessary
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports documenting all performed tasks and system conditions
Requirements/Preferences:
3+ years of Industrial, Marine, Heavy Commercial industry experience required.
Must be willing to travel regionally, nationally, and globally.
Strong electrical background/skills required.
Copper piping installation/brazing/etc.
Various HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting, repair planning, and repair execution.
Work with others as part of a team or lead and supervise helpers on larger jobs.
Electrical termination, wiring diagram familiarity, electrical troubleshooting abilities.
HVAC/EPA/etc. certifications preferred but not required at initial time of hiring.
TWIC eligibility required (card not required at time of employment).
ISTC and other safety training programs/experience preferred. Various other training and certification programs are preferred but not required (HUET, BOISET, RIGPASS, SAFEGULF, etc.)

Pay: $23.00 - $50.00 per hour
