Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Driver Helper to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will assist the driver with liftgate delivering various goods to homes and business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers using phone, text or other communication devices
- Work with driver to assist in performing all functions as related to the daily deliveries of the route
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations
- Strong communication skills in English; using voice, text, email TMS
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when making deliveries
- No violent crime convictions, crimes of dishonesty or drug related crimes
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for basic vehicle maintenance checks
