Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold high standards of sanitation and food safety
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable
- Clear tables promptly by bussing and assisting with food running or light kitchen duties when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to health regulations and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience not required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
