Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. Duties
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to emergency medicine and patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, especially in environments such as teaching hospitals or Level I/II Trauma Centers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in patient care.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be willing to undergo any required training related to patient care protocols.
