The ideal candidate will perform PET/CT procedures safely and efficiently, ensuring the highest image quality and superior patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform PET/CT exams according to physician orders and department protocols
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast safely and accurately
- Prepare, screen, and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and review images for diagnostic quality
- Maintain compliance with NRC, state, and Encore Imaging policies
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff, and patients
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain equipment and records
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care at all times
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (N), ARRT (CT), or NMTCB certification
- State of Florida license required
- CPR/BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- IV and radiopharmaceutical skills required
- Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience preferred
