Medical Technician – Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) | $17/hr | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | 1099 Contractor

About the Role:
We are hiring a bilingual Medical Technician to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)program. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with smartphones and patient interaction. You'll teach patients how to use a Bluetooth blood pressure cuff and ensure their readings are sent to their doctor daily.
Responsibilities:
- Identify patients eligible for RPM using diagnosis codes
- Download the app to patients’ smartphones and teach them how to use it
- Pair the app with a Bluetooth blood pressure cuff
- Educate patients on taking readings at least 4x/week
- Monitor compliance and follow up with patients as needed
- Communicate abnormal readings to the clinic
- Log patient interactions and updates
- Need to be able to commute to two locations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Comfortable with mobile apps and Bluetooth devices
- Familiarity with chronic conditions is helpful
- EMR knowledge is a plus
