Nighttime IOP Therapist/Counselor – Full Time
Scioto Wellness Center | Columbus/Hilliard, Ohio
Scioto Wellness Center is seeking a dependable and motivated full-time therapist/counselor for our nighttime Intensive Outpatient Program. This position is primarily responsible for providing clinical services to clients participating in evening substance use disorder programming.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain an assigned clinical caseload.
- Complete at least one individual counseling session with each assigned client every week.
- Lead and facilitate engaging, clinically appropriate IOP groups.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
- Complete progress notes and other required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor client participation, progress, risks, and barriers to treatment.
- Coordinate care with case management, medical, housing, and other clinical team members.
- Participate in clinical meetings, discharge planning, and continuity-of-care efforts.
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow all agency, licensing, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CDCA credential required.
- Higher or additional behavioral-health licensure is strongly preferred.
- Experience providing substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
- Group facilitation and individual counseling experience preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with individuals at different stages of recovery.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
