Job Description: Sourcing Specialist

Position Summary
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging suppliers or talent sources to meet organizational needs. This role focuses on building pipelines, conducting market research, and supporting procurement or recruiting strategies to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and source qualified vendors, suppliers, or candidates through various channels
Conduct market research and benchmarking to support sourcing strategies
Develop and maintain sourcing pipelines and databases
Collaborate with procurement, hiring managers, or business units to understand needs
Evaluate suppliers or candidates based on quality, cost, and performance criteria
Support negotiations, RFQs/RFPs, and vendor or candidate selection processes
Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and outcomes
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and/or talent pools
Monitor industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies and sourcing best practices

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Communications, Marketing or Human Resources
Four (4) years of experience in sourcing, procurement, recruiting, or related field
Strong research and analytical skills
Experience using sourcing tools, job boards, or procurement systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Experience in corporate recruiting or strategic sourcing
Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) or procurement platforms
Knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, vendor analysis)
Certification in sourcing, recruiting, or supply chain (e.g., AIRS, CPSM)
