Job Description
Insight Global is hiring both a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager to support a leading commercial general contractor. These are two separate openings, with leveling based on years of experience and project leadership background.
Candidates will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from planning and preconstruction through execution and closeout. The Senior Project Manager will take on additional leadership responsibilities, including client ownership, contract negotiation, and business development.
This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced construction environments and are experienced in managing commercial projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from concept through completion
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices
- Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Execute and monitor quality control procedures across all project phases
- Collaborate with subcontractors and cross-functional teams to resolve project challenges
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support preconstruction activities, including RFP development and planning
- Ensure all closeout documentation and project deliverables are completed on time
Additional Responsibilities (Senior Project Manager Level)
- Lead contract negotiations and manage client agreements
- Oversee multiple projects and project teams
- Drive business development efforts and acquire new clients
- Lead staffing decisions and oversee field personnel performance
- Serve as the primary client-facing leader for key projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (Project Manager) or 10+ years of experience (Senior Project Manager) in commercial construction
- Experience working for a general contractor required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Business development experience required for Senior-level candidates
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools
Pay: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
