Roadside Pros LLC is actively seeking experienced roadside and towing professionals to service U-Haul fleet accounts and commercial roadside assistance calls.
Hiring Location:
Brevard County, FL & Indian River County, FL
This is not an entry-level roadside assistance position. We are looking for technicians with real-world experience handling commercial vehicles, trailers, tire service, towing, and recovery operations.
Compensation
- Service calls pay no less than $100 per completed call
- Additional compensation may apply depending on the type of service performed
- Opportunities for higher earnings through expanded service capabilities and territory growth
- Independent Contractor (1099) position
Primary Responsibilities
- U-Haul roadside assistance and fleet support
- Commercial tire service
- Tire replacement and mounting for U-Haul trucks and trailers
- Trailer service and roadside repairs
- Lockouts
- Jump starts
- Fuel deliveries
- Towing and recovery operations
- Minor mechanical roadside repairs
- Accident and breakdown response
- Safe vehicle and equipment operation at all times
Required Experience
Applicants should have experience with one or more of the following:
- Commercial tire service
- Mobile tire replacement
- Towing operations
- Recovery operations
- Roadside assistance
- Trailer repair and service
- Light and medium-duty truck service
- U-Haul fleet experience (preferred but not required)
Technicians must be comfortable performing roadside tire replacements on U-Haul trucks and trailers, including removing damaged tires and installing replacement tires in the field.* *You MUST have the tools & knowledge replace the rubber tire on a rim.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable work vehicle capable of performing roadside service calls
- Professional appearance and conduct
- High-visibility safety vest required while on scene
- Organized and properly maintained tools and equipment
- Ability to safely work roadside while following industry safety procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate within all applicable Florida laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Access to commercial tire suppliers
- Experience working with U-Haul equipment
- Towing endorsements or towing experience
- Recovery equipment experience
- Existing roadside assistance industry experience
