Italian School of San Diego LLC is a language school teaching Italian to kids and adults, online and in-person in San Diego. The school is directed by an all-Italian staff, led by the school director Maura D'Andrea.
We are looking for Italian instructors to teach children in-person in Encinitas (North County San Diego), either our TK-2nd grade group or our 3rd-5th grade group. Classes meet once a week, 4:00-6:00pm, on Monday or Tuesday, starting at the end of August 2026. We are looking for a commitment for the entire academic year, through the end of May 2027.
This is a part-time position, about 2 hours per week, with the potential for occasional additional private classes. Our programs and books are already selected, so you can focus on teaching.
Requirements: native or fluent Italian and previous teaching or tutoring experience, ideally with children. You should already live in San Diego. The hiring process requires a background check.
Hourly compensation $30-$40 based on experience.
