FS8 is all-in-one fitness with flair. It's a never-been-done-before offering that remixes the best elements of Pilates, tone, and yoga for a complete, full-body group training experience. The FS8 workout is designed to break the mold and incorporate revolutionary, science-backed techniques to lengthen, strengthen, stabilize, and mobilize the body in a workout that ties in with your physical and psychological well-being.

Position Overview
We’re looking for an energetic, engaging Pilates Instructor / Fitness Coach / Movement Specialist to join our team at FS8 North Gulch, opening August 2026.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves working with people, thrives in a group environment, and is passionate about delivering a high-quality, experience-driven workout.
You may come from a background in Pilates, yoga, personal training, group fitness, strength training, or movement-based disciplines—what matters most is your ability to coach confidently, connect with members, and bring energy to the room.
As an FS8 Trainer, you’ll lead pre-programmed, science-backed workouts while creating an inclusive, supportive environment for clients of all levels. You’ll combine strong technical coaching with personality, presence, and the ability to motivate and inspire.

Key Responsibilities
Before Class:
- Prepare for each session by reviewing programming and class flow
- Develop clear, effective coaching cues (visual, verbal, tactile, kinesthetic)
- Ensure the studio and equipment are fully set up for a seamless class experience
- Welcome members, especially first-time clients, and assess any injuries or considerations
During Class:
- Lead engaging, high-energy group workouts using FS8 programming
- Coach movement with a focus on form, safety, and effectiveness
- Provide regressions, progressions, and modifications for all levels (including pre/post-natal where applicable)
- Create a motivating, inclusive environment where members feel supported and challenged
- Build connection by learning and using member names
After Class:
- Connect with members, especially new and trial clients
- Reset the studio to brand standards
- Share relevant client notes or feedback with the team
- Collaborate with fellow trainers and studio managers to support smooth, efficient studio operations
Additional Responsibilities
Be an engaged member of the team:
- Respond to Slack messages in a timely manner (within 48 hours, or within 8 hours on scheduled workdays)
- Attend regular virtual team meetings and FS8 Athletics webinars (every 6 weeks)
- Share and confirm your availability at least one month in advance
- Participate in classes at an FS8 studio at least twice per week to stay connected to the product and experience
- Arrive at least 20 minutes before scheduled classes, in uniform and prepared to deliver a high-quality experience
- Maintain strong personal presentation and hygiene in line with brand standards
- Commit to a minimum of three classes per shift, including availability for at least one weekend shift per month
Training & Onboarding | As part of your FS8 training journey, you are expected to:
- Engage with training materials: Thoroughly read the FS8 Trainer Handbook, complete all required FS8 learning modules.
- Attend 3-Day Onsite Training: Participate in mandatory, in-person training at the FS8 North Gulch studio (approx. 12-15 hours total) - early August - date & time TBA
- Complete mock classes: Lead and receive feedback on practice classes, and successfully meet the standards outlined on your formal class evaluation.
Qualifications
- Certification in Pilates, Personal Training, Yoga, or Group Fitness (or currently working toward one)
- Experience coaching or instructing in Pilates, fitness, or movement-based environments preferred
- Confident in a group setting with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their well-being
- Ability to motivate and engage clients of all experience levels
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
