We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This position offers flexibility and may be either full-time or part-time for the right individual. When inspection workloads are lighter, the successful candidate will be willing to assist with other production and manufacturing-related tasks to support overall operations
Responsibilities
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Inspect parts and assemblies prior to shipment to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use a variety of precision inspection tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality instruments.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify and report nonconforming products and work with production to resolve quality issues.
- Assist with production and manufacturing duties as needed during periods of lighter inspection activity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help maintain compliance with the company's quality management system.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$25.00 per hour based on experience
