Gas Turbine Package Design Engineer (1632425), Summary:
This role focuses on the mechanical design, specification, and integration of mobile and modular gas turbine packages for power generation projects. The work centers on turbine and auxiliary system layouts, interfaces, specifications, and vendor support across equipment such as fuel gas, lube oil, air intake, exhaust, and cooling systems. Core technical areas include packaged turbomachinery, mechanical layouts, industry standards, and rotating equipment auxiliaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering background.
- 5+ years of experience designing and integrating gas turbine, turbomachinery, or combustion turbine systems.
- Experience with mobile, modular, or packaged gas turbine equipment and related auxiliary systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate mobile or modular gas turbine power generation packages.
- Develop mechanical layouts, general arrangement drawings, component designs, and system interface definitions.
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment requisitions while supporting vendor bid evaluations.
Important Notes
- Remote role
- Planned as a contract-to-hire role with a Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week.
- This is a package design role, not a field reliability or rotating-equipment maintenance role.
