About the Role

Whether you are a licensed Physical Therapist developing comprehensive plans of care or a Physical Therapist Assistant implementing skilled interventions, you will play a vital role in our warm-water therapy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create evidence-based aquatic therapy plans. Perform therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and functional training under the direction of a PT.
- Leverage buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure, and viscosity to reduce joint stress and improve patient mobility.
- Instruct patients on proper body mechanics and safety protocols in and out of the pool.
- Maintain accurate daily notes and progress reports in Prompt EMR system.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions between Aquatic, Spine Therapy and land-based Physical Therapy.
Qualifications
- Valid MA license as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant or pending license application.
- Previous experience in aquatic therapy is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication, a positive "A-game" attitude, and the ability to spend extended time in a warm environment but the therapist does not need to be in the water.
