BR+A is seeking a Plumbing Engineer in our Coral Gables or Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience and the following skills:

Familiarity with specification writing;

Performing field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects;

Coordinating with other disciplines;
-
Developing calculations for Plumbing system sizing;
-
Thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes;
-
Understanding work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the plan;
-
Ability to meet with clients and work with contractors;
-
Oversee deliverables to and from clients;
-
Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team.
Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit
-
Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Proactive and collaborative team member
-
Previous experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education and Laboratory projects is a plus
-
PE License strongly preferred
