General Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for verifying accuracy and compliance of paperwork before leaving the facility
- Ensures fleet vehicle has gas, clean inside and out and is ready for the day’s schedule
- Performs fleet vehicle inspections daily
- Verifies with a customer that correct quantity and packages are delivered upon arrival
- Safely delivers packages based on pre-determined daily route
- Safely loads and unloads packages/products both indoors and outdoors at multiple locations throughout the day
- Ensures customer receiving products signs all appropriate paperwork
- Collects payment (if applicable) and verifies delivery is correct
- Communicates any issues to Logistics Manager and Accounting in a timely manner
- Responsible for delivery of paperwork, payment and keys to appropriate parties at end of each day
- Other duties as assigned
Education / Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School diploma
- MED Key badge required
- Clean driving record
- Trustworthy
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Strong communications skills
- Attention to detail
Physical Activity and Work Environment
- Work hours may vary from time to time
- Must be able to work 8-12 hours shifts
- Ability to load and unload delivery packages/products
- Ability to sit for long hours of driving
- Ability to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working and driving outdoors regardless of the weather
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
MUST HAVE A VERY GOOD DRIVING RECORD (look back to 3 years)
