Overview
KISO GROUP is looking for a seasoned builder as a field Superintendent to lead and oversee swimming pool and water feature construction installations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive management style, strong delegation and leadership qualities, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of all facets of building--layout, excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete, plumbing and electrical systems, finishes and commissioning. This candidate will be instrumental in the execution of complex commercial and residential aquatic construction projects. We install in ground and elevated structures.
Responsibilities

- Execution of layout, elevations, excavation, formwork, steel, concrete, plumbing, electrical, equipment, startup and commissioning.
- Visualization based on plans, schematics, and shop drawings and be able to assemble.
- Manage in house foreman team on multiple projects. Delegate responsibility and hold teammates accountable for their duties.
- Assist the preconstruction team with feedback for developing detailed project schedules.
- Planning-creation of 2-3 week lookaheads based on current tracking of project.
- Check procurement logs for upcoming on site material needs.
- This candidate must know how to build. Scope, material, manpower, tools, equipment, accessories and durations.
- Will be responsible for jobsite housekeeping enforcement and material organization.
- Deliveries- Coordinate on site deliveries through supply team and communicate with clients and internal employee team for onsite acceptance.
- Final sign offs on equipment and material deliveries and acceptance.
- Subcontractor management-schedules, scopes or work and quality control.
- Schedule enforcement. This candidate must be assertive and push.
- Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors using ProCore to track progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors. Review contracts to ensure scope of work aligns with project goals.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, photographs, and quality assurance records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Company checklist adherence.
- Acute awareness to email communication.
- High level communicator. Relay changes in field immediately to PM team.
- Inspections-Notification to the permitting team on inspection requests and log results.
- Jobsite client meetings.
Experience
- Must know how to create. We are looking for true builders who know how to assemble.
- Aquatic construction preferred but will certainly consider the right candidates based on other experience.
- Strong knowledge of reading and understanding plans, schematic interpretation, and field execution.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on active sites.
- Supervising experience with a focus on quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
- Prior leadership roles in any capacity.
- High level athletic or business team experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
