Peak-A-Boo preschool focuses on ages 3-5. We believe students should have a fun, positive, and safe environment to learn and grow. We provide numerous ways for students to learn in every subject area that involve both the body and mind in our state of the art facility that includes a 10,000 sq/ft gym.
We use the Utah State Core Curriculum to assess students regularly to determine their individual needs in order to have them meet the standards required for entering kindergarten.
When you join our team as an assistant program manager you will: **
- Assist the Education Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
- Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and school/community contacts.
- Serve as the teacher liaison between teachers and director as well as provide program stability within all the classrooms.
Skills, Education, and Experience**
- At least two years of early childhood education/experience required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom
- A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
- Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Hours:
Monday- Thursday 8:30am-2:45pm (occasional Saturdays) throughout the school year (September - May)
Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 2 years (Preferred)
- College degree or teaching certificate required
