JOB SUMMARY:
Assist in the day to day functions of the Assembly Department with various stages of the assembly and subassembly processes in the International Assembly Dept. 1061.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Safety oriented (Safety First).
- Deciphers job orders.
- Read prints, charts, calipers and other various measurement tools.
- Identifies and is accountable for various parts and material.
- Complete basic forms.
- Verifies accuracy of paperwork.
- Prioritize job orders by due date.
- Keep copy of the Production Job Order with parts
- Adjust fixturing.
- Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and or deficiencies.
- Build main valves, sub-assemblies and solve valve kitting problems.
- Drills, seats, presses, loctites, threads, measures, trims, polishes, washes, preps, paints, performs back pressure tests and sand blasts.
- Sets valves
- Be professional with a positive attitude.
- Be willing and available for cross-training when work load requires

- Ability to be open-minded and learn new things.
- Prior general assembly experience and strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Class 4 & 5 Fork lift experience preferred but not required.
