The position is responsible for coordinating and managing events based on the needs and requirements of the client and the overall cleanliness of the facility. Key Responsibilities
· Gather detailed information on each event when meeting with clients.
· Prepare room schematic for each event, based on the client’s needs.
· Explain to clients our policies concerning security, trash removal, and serving alcohol
· Meet with clients to review event schedule.
· Serve as liaison with vendors such as caterers, DJ’s, bands, etc.
· Inventory audiovisual equipment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
· Maintain equipment list for each event and ensure all equipment is on hand and in good working condition
· Oversee room setup to ensure the room reflects the schematic
· Manage day-of-the-event needs and changes to ensure event(s) run smoothly.
· Handle client queries on the day of the event and troubleshoot client needs
· Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently.
· Supervise event support staff during events.
· Oversee bar setup, teardown, and on-site bar staff during events.
· Light reception and office duties.
· Support other related functions as assigned, consistent with the purpose and scope of the position.
Qualifications
· Experience with the coordination of community and other events is preferred
· Must possess the ability to work as part of a team, follow orders and procedures, and complete assigned tasks.
· Must possess the ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Must be able to deal with all levels of personnel courteously and efficiently.
· This position requires frequent and regular communication with clients; ideal applicants will have strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to interact with clients in a helpful, patient, and professional manner.
Job Context: Primarily indoor, occasionally outdoor

Compensation:
· Salary: $18-$22/hour
