About the Job
We are currently searching for experienced drivers to drive dedicated Shortline/Flatbed runs (CA, AZ, NV-90% Out of State-10%) Sunday PM through Thursday PM. Doubles/triples, hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
Responsibilities
Responsible for safe and timely delivery of company products to customers with the highest level of professionalism while adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Must be able to comply with all D.O.T., State, Federal and City laws and regulations while operating vehicles. Will be required to assist with various other duties within the shipping department as necessary.
Position Requirements
- Performs all segments of the company’s delivery functions.
- Must perform minor repairs and maintenance of company vehicle and equipment in to maintain in good working order.
- Must be able to sit for long periods.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and appearance.
- Must be able to operate forklifts and securing of loads utilizing the “tie-down” method.
- Able to complete without errors, D.O.T. drivers logbooks.
Qualifications
Class A CDL drivers license - required
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work with customers
- At least 2 years experience driving a flatbed
- Clean (MVR) Motor Vehicle Record
- Must meet all physical qualification for CDL, DOT requirements
What We Offer:
Compensation
.60 to .63 cents per mile (Avg. miles 2,250/week) plus $12.50 per Drop Pay
Sign-on Bonus
$500 after each successful month completed for the first 6 months of employment.
