We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our Mandarin Campus team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of second-grade students.
- Plan and deliver effective, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in a positive and constructive manner.
- Participate in professional development and school events as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; valid teaching certification required.
- Experience teaching elementary school students, preferably 2nd grade.
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
