Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces using established procedures and cleaning supplies
- Manage laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Operate dry cleaning equipment for delicate or special garments as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards while maintaining high-quality standards of cleanliness
- Restock supplies in resident rooms and public areas to ensure availability at all times
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Follow proper procedures for handling laundry chemicals and cleaning agents to ensure safety
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and procedures is a plus
- Previous hotel or long term care experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure every space is spotless and well-maintained
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
