We are currently looking for a Sushi Helper to join our team. This role is essential to preparing rolls, appetizers, and other menu items while ensuring quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Pay & Training
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
- Includes 2 weeks of paid training.
- Note: This position includes a 2-week probationary period to ensure a good fit for both the candidate and the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi rolls, appetizers, and other menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with daily food prep to ensure freshness and quality throughout the day
- Maintain food inventory, manage portions, and minimize waste
- Ensure all food is prepared within proper safety and hygiene guidelines
- Properly handle and maintain kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances
- Clean and sanitize work areas during and after shifts
- Support and collaborate with chefs and team members in a fast-paced environment
