We are a small, close-knit group of people who enjoy sewing and reupholstering furniture for our customers. The Seamstress position involves working in a warehouse setting to sew fabric for furniture upholstery using sewing machines. The role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in sewing. This position requires an individual who can work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines to fabricate upholstery for furniture according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Sew using proper sewing techniques and materials such as vinyl, leather, and other fabrics as appropriate.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse
- You will be required to measure, cut, and create new patterns.
Experience
- Prior experience in operating sewing machines is required
- Knowledge of different fabrics (vinyl and leather) and sewing techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 10-25 lbs.)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
